Our Story:

Angel Heart Pajama Project began with a simple yet profound idea: every child deserves to feel safe, warm, and loved, especially at bedtime. Founded by a group of compassionate individuals who saw the need for basic comforts among children facing adversity, our organization quickly grew from a grassroots initiative into a beacon of hope for many families. Guided by our belief in the power of kindness and generosity, we are committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of children across our community. For many of these children, pajamas and books are more than just items; they symbolize security, dignity, and comfort in times of uncertainty.

Our Mission:

At Angel Heart Pajama Project, our mission is to provide comfort, warmth, and hope to children in need by supplying them with new pajamas and new books, thereby addressing both their personal and emotional needs.


Since 2013, Angel Heart has become the leading resource in Southern Arizona for enhancing sleep quality and fostering a love of reading. We have provided pajamas and books to over 57,000 children.

 

 

 

How We Help:

The impact of the Angel Heart Pajama Project goes far beyond the physical gift of pajamas and books. Our mission is to convey to children that they are valued, seen, and deserving of love and comfort.


Angel Heart aims to improve children’s quality of life, strengthen community partnerships, boost children’s self-esteem, raise awareness of children’s challenges, demonstrate care and compassion, and create a sense of security and normalcy for children.

Angel Heart supports The Foothills Club of Tucson.

- With much appreciation to the Kiwanis Club of Tucson who gathered together to fold pajamas for our children in need on August 21.
 
- Costco at the Marketplace provided a very special gift card to Angel Heart for the purchase of pajamas for "kiddos".  Chank you Nicloe and Costco. 
 
- A big cheer to Barnes and Noble Book Sellers for a very successful "Back to School" fundraiser.  Through the Barnes  and Noble Partnership Angel Heart is able to purchase new books for the children we serve.  A big thanks to the Barnes and Noble team. 
 
- A  Happy 50th Anniversary to Nancie and Charlie Kondrat, long time Angel Heart Volunteers.  They celebrated this special Golden Anniversary with well over 50 friends and family members last night, August 30.  In lieu of personal gifts the guests were asked to bring pajamas and books for children in need.  What a beautiful evening.   Thank you Nancie and Charlie.  
A.  Thank you Texas Roadhouse for a wonderful and successful “Christmas in July” pajama and book drive! Many new pairs of pajamas and books were donated by staff community members.

B.  Much gratitude to Barnes and Noble for a fun and well attended “Back to School Book Fair and Fundraiser.”  On August 3rd many faithful volunteers and loyal customers packed Barnes and Noble in support of Angel Heart Pajama Project.
C. St. Vincent De Paul of Tucson donated a very cozy sofa to Angel Heart Pajama Project for our warehouse rooms located at Cavett Elementary School.  It brightens up our room.  Thank you 
D.  A big shout out to Cavett Elementary school Principal, Carol Leeson, for welcoming Angel Heart to be a part of the school community.  We look forward to the partnership and working with many Cavett families.
