Spirit Week Fundraisers – July and August 2023

Angel Heart thanks Chick-fil-A for its Spirit Week fundraisers for Angel Heart raising held during the months of July and August 2023. Close to $1,200 has been raised, which will provide 60 children in need with a new pair of pajamas and a new book to call their own. Children and their families were able to participate in story time, face painting, and cookie decorating activities while enjoying a Chick Fil-A meal.

Thanks to Tucson Kino Rotarian, Monique Soria, who volunteered to read several story books while children and families had a chance to meet and interact with the Chick-fil-A cow. A portion of the proceeds from sales of that day benefited Angel Heart in its mission to provide pajamas and books to children in need. Thanks Chick-fil-A for your support generosity!

Participate in the Spirit Week and Book Drive by donating a new book and receive a special treat! Join us from 6:30am to 10pm during the week of August 14-19, 2023.

Special Events:

Tuesday, August 15–Story Time 4:00pm-5:00pm—Face Painting 5:00pm-6:00pm

Thursday, August 17–Cookie Decorating 4:00pm-5:00pm—Story Time 5:00pm-6:00pm

During the event, place a food order and mention Angel Heart Pajama Project who will receive a percentage of your food order.

It’s Story Time at Chick-fil-A–July 18, 2023

Join us at “Cow Tales” Book Drive for a couple of hours of story time at Chick-fil-A Oracle Road on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 11:30am to 1:30pm. All parents, grandparents & care takers are welcome. Registration is not required for this free event.

Participate in the Spirit Day and Book Drive by donating a new book and receive a special treat! Join us from 6:30am to 10pm. You’ll have the chance to meet and interact with the Chick-fil-A cow and listen to fun cow themed stories.

During the event, place a food order and Angel Heart Pajama Project will receive a percentage of the sales that day. Proceeds from “Cow Tales” will support new pairs of pajamas and books to Tucson children in need.

Spring Book Fair Thank You-April 1, 2023

Angel Heart would like to thank Julie Morris and her team at Barnes & Noble for the wonderful Spring Book Fair they sponsored for Angel Heart on April 1, 2023  The day was fun filled with activities for children including arts and crafts, story time, and cookie decorating.  The fundraiser is instrumental in supporting Angel Heart with purchase of new books for children in need. 

A Big Shout out of Appreciation goes to Angel Heart Board Member, Debbie Haddock, who plans and organizes this special and very successful day!  We couldn’t do it without you, Debbie!

Another huge thank you to VIBE 97.5 Radio, who are Angel Heart’s very special Angel Community Partner. The VIBE provided onsite coverage at Barnes & Noble and air time announcements prior to the event.

Lastly, but not least, are the wonderful volunteers who worked to support the event.  There were teams from several Rotary Clubs (Kino, Sunset, Pantano), and many other individual ANGELS who came to support the mission of Angel Heart.    We value your time and talents!
