Here are tiny, powerful stories of how Angel Heart is making an impact with each pajama and book donation.  It is one day at a time, one child at a time.

Meet Conrad and Magdalene, siblings who are in foster care. They always slept in their undies or clothes. Through Angel Heart's partnership with this foster care agency, these two children now have a new pair of cozy pajamas and a new book of their very own.  When they first unwrapped their pajamas, their faces beamed with joy.

Meet the Lions of South Tucson and the Tucson Cyber Lions who provide free eye exams and lenses to children with poor eyesight and whose families do not have the monetary means  to purchase glasses. Angel Heart is partnering with the Lions to do the eye screening and provide pajamas and books.

Meet Joe, a Domestic Violence Detective with Tucson Police Department. Joe learned about Angel Heart through his wife when she hosted a Pajama Drive. He visited and learned about Angel Heart and now he and other detectives provide pajamas, books and cuddle pillows to children who have been removed from their home or school. It is the hope and dream of Angel Heart that these gifts will bring children in deplorable situations comfort and love.

Meet a priest who is also a pilot. Since Yuma is a four-hour drive from Tucson, the priest and a gracious friend with a plane has teamed up with Angel Heart to fly pajamas, books, and cuddle pillows to children living in a shelter in Yuma on a quarterly basis.

Meet the wonderful individuals from Ronald McDonald House who are committed to helping children and families with cancer and other serious illnesses. Even though Angel Heart is unable to meet the children or families, new pajamas, books and cuddle pillows are delivered quarterly.  We regularly hear of how grateful the children and families are during this very difficult time of their lives.

Meet the Women and Children's Center at the Gospel Rescue Mission who are so thankful for the beautiful pajamas sent to their kids during the Christmas Project. "These were the best I’d ever seen. The kids went crazy over them—the baby (footed) ones were so cute!!!! We appreciate the Christmas Card also and have it hung on my wall for all to see!! Nana, Marty, and Maria, God bless you and all your hard work!!!"

Meet Vision Quest who is so thankful for the delivery of all the pajama's and books for their youth at Vision Quest. This service will definitely benefit our youth that are placed with us. Sometimes youth arrive to Vision Quest with no clothing and we quickly begin to look for clothes, shoes, undergarments and pajamas. They have many youth in our programs who greatly enjoy reading.
