Holiday Gifting
During the Holiday Gifting months of October–December, Angel Heart serves children in need through preschools and Head Start programs, Cops for Kids, the Southside Lions, YMCAs, and foster care and adoption agencies. Pajamas, books, and cuddle pillows are individually wrapped and prepared for each child.
Emergency Closets
Angel Heart establishes Emergency Closets within partner agencies that see a high frequency of children arriving or transitioning — homeless and transitional shelters, children’s hospitals and care facilities, food banks, group homes, foster care and adoption organizations, and family resource centers. These agencies are restocked with new pajamas, new books, and cuddle pillows every four months, available to families during evenings and weekends.
