Tiny, powerful stories of how Angel Heart is making an impact with each pajama and book donation.
Siblings in foster care who always slept in their undies or clothes. Through Angel Heart's partnership with their foster care agency, these two children now have a new pair of cozy pajamas and a new book of their very own. When they first unwrapped their pajamas, their faces beamed with joy.
Conrad and Magdalene
They provide free eye exams and lenses to children with poor eyesight whose families do not have the monetary means to purchase glasses. Angel Heart is partnering with the Lions to do the eye screening and provide pajamas and books.
The Lions of South Tucson & Tucson Cyber Lions
A Domestic Violence Detective who learned about Angel Heart through his wife when she hosted a Pajama Drive. Now he and other detectives provide pajamas, books and cuddle pillows to children who have been removed from their home or school — in the hope that these gifts bring comfort and love to children in deplorable situations.
Joe, a Tucson Police Department detective
Since Yuma is a four-hour drive from Tucson, the priest and a gracious friend with a plane have teamed up with Angel Heart to fly pajamas, books, and cuddle pillows to children living in a shelter in Yuma on a quarterly basis.
A priest who is also a pilot
Wonderful individuals committed to helping children and families facing cancer and other serious illnesses. Even though Angel Heart is unable to meet the children or families, new pajamas, books and cuddle pillows are delivered quarterly. We regularly hear how grateful the children and families are during this very difficult time of their lives.

So thankful for the delivery of all the pajamas and books for their youth. Sometimes youth arrive with no clothing and staff quickly begin to look for clothes, shoes, undergarments and pajamas. Many youth in their programs greatly enjoy reading.
